Dean Ward Death – Cause of Death – Public Safety Telecommunicator, Dean Ward has died at the age of 36. Ward was a public servant for over five years with Bergen County Communications. The Bergen County Communications Center is home to Bergen County’s 9-1-1 and dispatch operations. They serve 21 towns and act as a 9-1-1 secondary alternate call routing center for all of Bergen County, other county agencies and All County Emergency Resource Phone Service.

According to a tweet made by BC Communications, Ward was professional and who was dedicated to serving all of the first responders in the Police and Fire Departments, Emergency Medical Services as well as all of the people of Bergen County.

BC Communications said in a tweet; “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our own, Public Safety Telecommunicator, Dean Ward, age 36. PST Ward was a dedicated public servant for over five years with Bergen County Communications.

“His hard work and efforts have been recognized so many times during his tenure with Bergen County, he was simply one of the best. He was the ultimate professional and was committed to serving all of our first responders in the Police and Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Services, as well as all of the people of Bergen County, he will be sorely missed by all.

“Emergency dispatchers across this nation should always be recognized for the great work that they do, they are the first call people make when in need of help and PST Ward displayed excellence during his chosen career and handled every call with the utmost professionalism and care. May he rest in peace and may he and his family remain in your thoughts and prayers.”
