Hundreds of residents of Ahad Rufaidah governorate wished the competent authorities in the Ministry of Health to work to meet their demands for the establishment of a dental medical center. Due to the overcrowding on appointments in dental clinics in primary health care centers, in light of the large population that exceeds 150,000 people in the governorate and its administrative centers, in addition to vacationers and visitors. A number of them told Okaz that there is a dental medical center in Khamis Mushait, and the auditor has been waiting for several months due to the crowds of auditors coming from several governorates.
Abdullah Al-Hamidi, Fahd Al-Qahtani, and Muhammad Mufleh said: We and hundreds of people are still waiting for the intervention of the competent authority in the Ministry of Health to establish a dental center in the governorate, as in other governorates, as the auditors are crowded and wait for appointments for several weeks in dental clinics in health care centers with a limited number.
The speakers added to "Okaz" that a large percentage of patients prefer to have their teeth treated in private clinics, which burdens those with limited financial income. If a government dental center was prepared, it would represent a high-end free treatment service, and it would end the suffering of thousands radically. The speakers asked: Why has the governorate hospital lacked an MRI machine since its inception, despite the fact that the general hospital facility is spacious and modern?
