 ·  1 min read

Today (Sunday) the Egyptian show choreographer, Hassan Afifi, who starred with the Reda Folklore Ensemble, and starred in the design of Ramadan Fawazir on Egyptian television for many years, died today.

The "Seventh Day" website stated that Afifi struggled with the disease for two months in a private hospital in Egypt, without giving further details about the nature of the disease.

Afifi began his artistic career as a dancer with the Reda and Mahmoud Reda troupe, then entered the field of acting and participated in a number of films such as “Gharam in Karnak”, “The Mid-Year Vacation”, and “The Show Girl”.

After retiring from dancing, Hassan Afifi proved his success in choreography, reaching the pinnacle of his glory through the Ramadan fawazir presented by the stars Nelly and Sherihan for years, and he also worked as a designer for the performances of Samir Ghanem's "Fatouta" fawazir.

Afifi also designed many performances for the theatrical works of the artist, Mohamed Sobhi.

On the personal level, Afifi married the actress Hana Al-Shorbaji, who was also famous for her theatrical roles with Sobhi.
