The state, represented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, takes great care of the elderly, and makes great efforts to improve their services and means of living, starting with the enactment of legislation and regulations that guarantee their rights and provide them with respect and reverence, and ending with policies, initiatives and programs to provide care and achieve the specifications of a decent life!
The Elderly Rights and Care System sets out mechanisms for dealing with and caring for the elderly in the Kingdom in coordination between the Ministry and the relevant authorities to enable the elderly to live in an environment that preserves their rights and preserves their dignity, in addition to spreading awareness and educating the community about these rights, and providing documented information and statistics to be used in conducting research. And studies that help in drawing up plans and programs and organizing appropriate activities for them to enhance their skills, practice their hobbies, support their integration into society, and even encourage those who are able to work!
Our society is built on respect and reverence for the elderly, and this is part of an ingrained culture that is inherited from generation to generation, but the presence of specialized systems and authorities helps more to preserve the rights and meet the needs of the elderly and to understand the physical and psychological changes that occur to a person with advancing age and entering the old age stage, when the need for a great increase Age to rely on others!
The elderly have spent their lives giving and sacrificing for their communities and families, and have contributed to the construction and development of their country, while taking care of them and facilitating their lives embodies the gratitude they deserve. Electronic services at official departments, support their needs, provide health care, establish social homes, allocate housing support programs, educate the elderly, develop skills and help them gain independence in order to ensure the provision of the best elements of an environment that stimulates active participation in society and is comfortable for a decent life!
