Epie Sona was a linebacker for San Jose State from 2014 to 2016. He was on the team that won the 2015 Cure Bowl. Originally from San Jose, he went to Bellarmine College Prep and played JC football at De Anza College.

Lost an old football teammate suddenly today way too early, Epie Sona. While we didn’t stay in contact much, it was shocking. All those guys were so instrumental to my work ethic and drive today. Dude worked his ass off and pushed us all to be better. Good people gone too soon.
