Eppie Wietzes Death – Dead: Dead: Eppie Wietzes was a racing driver from Canada He participated in two Formula One World Championship GP, (1967 Canadian GP and 1974 Canadian GP). He was the driver of the first safety car in Formula One, in the 1973 Canadian Grand Prix. He died on June 11 at the age of 82.
