From here, the employee will be fully aware that failure to follow the safety procedures will endanger his life, and at that time we can apply all procedures against the employee, provided that all of the above are applied and the facility bears the responsibility towards the employee.

Talking here about the life of a person who may lose his life because he is not aware of the dangers and does not appreciate the consequences.

The principle in safety is to spread culture and awareness, to realize and protect lives and property.

“Who is at fault?”.. A question that some people have when investigating accidents that occur in some facilities, prompted by his eagerness to attribute the error to one of his employees. Perhaps to find his opportunity to prove the extent of his strength and the extent of the strict measures that were taken on the employee, and to reduce the responsibility of the official; Because there are those who were punished for not complying with the occupational safety and health regulations.

Hence, I will begin in my speech: Is the aim of investigating accidents is to find out who is at fault?! Or the main goal is to find out the causes of the accident? And how to avoid it and not repeat it again in the facility, and create a safe environment? Some may use sanctions and penalties to not repeat such incidents.

I will put five questions, after which we will determine how to implement punishment, accountability, and accountability: Is there a written and applied risk assessment on the ground? Are safe work procedures properly applied? Has the employee received appropriate training for the assigned work tasks? Is effective oversight and supervisor available for critical work? Is maintenance carried out on the equipment and tools scheduled periodically and work to be examined? Is there a special budget for safety and health work in the facility? Have you given the appropriate authority to the employee in the event that he encounters potential risks during the performance of the task that he will perform?

The employee has the right not to start work until after knowing its procedures, obtaining appropriate training, having an effective supervisor at the task site, and examining tools and equipment before starting work. The employee is obligated to sign an annual declaration if all of the above is provided.

And in the event that it is not provided, he should be apologized that the work may endanger his life and he may lose one of his organs or his life while working.
