Today (Thursday), the deadline set by the American billionaire and owner of the "Twitter" site, Elon Musk, for the owners of the old blue ticks to keep them for free ends. At the end of this day, the blue verification mark will be removed from the account, unless the owner pays the monthly subscription price to keep the mark.
As this step will end the mark that constitutes the legacy of the “Twitter” site for verified accounts.
Elon Musk announced earlier that the deadline for the free blue tick to remain on Twitter accounts is April 20, 3 weeks after the original plan, which was scheduled for April 1.
The other color authentication marks will remain the same, such as the golden authentication mark indicating that the account is for an organization, and the silver authentication mark indicating that the account represents a government entity.
