• An old woman who missed the Ramadan fast last year due to her illness and inability. She is asking what she should do in making up that fast knowing that she is now unable to make it up due to her health condition?

•• The answer: If she is unable to make up for her illness, then she must make up after recovery and be slow, because God Almighty says: Whoever among you is sick or on a journey, then a number of other days should be made [Al-Baqara: 185]. Food and drink until the night, for she feeds one poor person for each day, and she does not have to do anything, praise be to God.

• Does oxygen for asthma patients affect fasting?

•• The answer: The fatwa is issued in this that it does not harm; Because they are forced to do it, and it is not eating or drinking, and it is not similar to eating and drinking, but rather air that gives them some relief, air that has some kind of mild medicine that gives them some relief.

• If I know that a person is fasting, but I saw him drinking out of forgetfulness, should I warn him or shut him up?

•• The answer: Yes, alert him; Because the fasting person is not allowed to drink or eat, so if he makes a mistake, alert him, even if he does not sin by forgetting and he does not have to make it up, but his drinking and eating while he is fasting is something reprehensible if he did it deliberately. And enjoin good and forbid evil.
