Awful news today that Goolam Rajah has succumbed to Covid, special human being. We all have wonderful memories of him. 1 of mine: I left my binos at the hotel before the Proteas game in St Kitts CWC 2007, could not score without them, he found me in a state.

Farewell former Proteas Manager Goolam Rajah. A lovely man who was magnificent at his job. He once asked me to “look after” some players on a Kolkata-Mumbai-Johannesburg trip & I found it utterly overwhelming.
He looked after them for 20 years, doing so with distinction.
RIP
