Terry Lillis Death – Cause Of Death: With immense sadness, we learned about the unpredicted and unexpected passing of booking legend and founder of Australia betting site Centrebet Terry Lillis on Sunday 14th November 2021 at the age of 78 in South Australia after losing his battle with long term illness, leaving friends and family in a broken state.
His death was announced by Clarken Racing on social media. He was described as a good client and more importantly a good friend. He was a lover of sport which made him partake in racing and made fortune out of it. He was a loving and treasured father who made his family his priority. He was cherished by all in the racing world.
Terry Lillis’ cause of death has not been confirmed at the time of this report, an update will be made as soon as it is confirmed. Our thought and prayers are with the family and friends who are affected by his departure. Terry Lillis Obituary will be disclosed by his family.

A loyal supporter of the stable, Terry was an innovator and popular racing man who made a success out of the sport he loved over many years through bookmaking and other racing ventures. He will be missed by all and our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, and peers for their loss. Terry’s memory will live on through an as yet unraced 3YO who is sired by the stallion he bred Written Tycoon. She is currently at work in the yard and bears his namesake – Lillis.”
