I am devastated with the news that my dear friend of over 50 years, and former CEO Group member, Frank Guaracini Jr. passed away from COVID.
Frank was incredibly generous to his friends and he was an extraordinary husband, father, brother and grandfather. I recall when my father passed away in 1990, Frank made sure there was food in my mother’s house for about a week to feed our visitors so we did not have to think about restocking the shelves. Of course he refused any attempt to pay him for his generosity.
Frank made many public contributions to the community but made many more privately.
Over the last several decades, Frank has devoted his life to God and the Church as a Deacon.
In that position he provided much comfort to friends and families in need. I am sure that the community shall do the same for his family.
Selfishly I will miss Frank very much. I will miss his smile, his optimism and his kindness among so many other attributes. However, I believe if he had to pass, Frank would have appreciated the significance of passing during Easter Week due to his deep faith. I have no doubt that Frank was welcomed by those who predeceased him including of course his parents and my parents. My late mother called Frank her “third son”. Frank’s last Facebook post referenced how happy he was that he came home. As usual he graciously thanked all those who provided assistance during his illness. Now he has gone to his other home for eternal and well deserved peace.
