Pastor Roger Ball passed away – death: Pastor Roger Ball, of Vero Beach, Florida, United States, a Lead Pastor at Freedom Church, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Pastor Roger is a father, grandfather, friend, leader, mentor, husband, and friend. He died leaving behind family, friends, members of Freedom Church, and the entire community of Vero Beach in grief.
Pastor Roger is a native of Princeton, West Virginia, he studied Theology at New Covenant Bible College. He has worked at Treasure Coast Baptist Association from 1991 to present at Vero Beach, Florida, and was also the lead pastor of Freedom Church until his demise. He is married to Laura Poe Ball, who has been beside him through his journey as a pastor. Pastor Roger was a man who loved God and who dedicated his life to doing what is right. He was known to be a kindhearted, caring, and good person who always try all he could to put a smile on everyone’s face. Pastor Roger is survived by his beloved family, the church, and the entire community. Though he passed away suddenly, his memory and legacy will be remembered forever.
Del Bates expressed his sadness in a post on Facebook and also remembered pastor Roger as a friend who stood by them. “Vero Beach stands in shock with the loss of a great man ~ a faithful husband ~ a dear father and grandfather ~ and a one of a kind Pastor who had a heart for the homeless and the lost! No one was too far gone for Roger to reach! Our dear friend who stood by us through many trials, Pastor Roger Ball, has sadly left this earth and was entered into eternal life with the words, “Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant, Jon and I will miss you much. Laura, our hearts break for you and your family and your great loss. Continued prayers for each of you.”
