Gabrielle Agnes Johnson Death – Cause of Death – Julius Smith, 24, of Brooklyn Center, was shot in the head in a truck in Brooklyn Center late on Thursday, 11th of November 2021. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said Gabrielle died on the 14th of November 2021 at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, three days after the shot was fired. She died of a gunshot wound to the head and her death was ruled as a homicide.
The shooting happened on the 5600 block of North Girard Avenue, at approximately 2:11 p.m. on Nov. 11. Reports mentioned that Julius Smith, 24, of Brooklyn Center, has been caught and is being charged with the shooting. Smith allegedly opened fire on Gabrielle who was sitting in the front seat of a red pickup truck, with Smith sitting behind her.
Investigators were able to find surveillance footage that shows that Smith shot the victim. Investigations are ongoing.
