This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
Missing person Gil Cunha was found deceased by the Suffolk County New York Police Department. The West Haven Police Department is working in conjunction with the Suffolk County Police Department and the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office to determine cause and manner of Mr. Cunha’s death. Out of respect to Mr. Cunha’s family and friends, no further information will be released at this time. SILVER ALERT/MISSING PERSON
The West Haven Police are asking the public to assist in locating the following Missing Person:
50 year old, Gil Cunha, was last seen by a relative late at night on May 7th in the area of Overlook Avenue in West Haven and has been missing since.
Mr. Cunha is described as being 5’10” tall and approximately 175 lbs., having a bald shaved head and full beard and moustache. He was last seen wearing a gray and blue windbreaker and either a red or green bandana to cover his mouth.
In addition to being put out as a missing person a silver alert has been activated for Mr. Cunha.
