Yesterday my band mate and lovely amigo Graeme Williamson from the Pukka Orchestra passed away. Neil Chapman, Graeme Williamson and myself had a ‘wonderful time’ with our lovely band and it remains a creative peak in music for us all. Goodbye my friend


RIP Graeme Williamson, Toronto-based songwriter in The Pukka Orchestra whose 1984 single “Cherry Beach Express” highlighted police violence at Toronto’s Police’s 52 Division. Toronto Police are said to have attempted to block the single’s release.

More details have not been released about this death, and actual death age and date are yet to confirmed by us. We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
