Our first national football team concluded its camp in Jeddah by losing to its guest, Bolivia, with two goals to one in the meeting that brought them together at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.
The match witnessed the domination of the Bolivia national team amid an average performance from our national team, and Bolivia managed to score the first goal early on through Marcelo Martinez (D: 13), and Al-Akhdar’s performance was activated before the end of the first half and he managed to score the equalizer through captain Salem Al-Dosari from Penalty kick (M: 44).
In the second half, the two teams exchanged control over the course of the match, and Bolivia was able to score the second goal from an individual effort by player Carmelo Algaranaz (D: 67), and despite the changes made by coach Hervé Renard, the players of our national team were unable to score the equalizer, so the match ended with Bolivia’s victory. Two goals to one.
It is noteworthy that this meeting is the last era of French coach Hervé Renard with our national team.
