In 2015, de Vink was champion of the Junior African Road Championships in road race and time trial. He also won the South African National Road Race Championships in time trials.

I’ve had the honor of riding and racing alongside Gregory since I started cycling back in 2010 . He was not only an exceptional rider, but also great person off the bike.
