Gustave Erickson Death – Cause of Death : An auto-pedestrian crash has claimed the life of a man identified by the Yuma Police officers as a 72-year-old Gustave Erickson, on Tuesday evening, November 16, 2021, around 7:54 p.m.
The preliminary investigation stated that Erickson was crossing 16th Street near the intersection of Jesse Way and moving toward the Yuma Palms Mall when he was hit by a 2018 Honda Civic operated by a 20-year-old woman traveling eastbound on the same street. The pedestrian died of his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was present at the scene and corporated with the police when they arrived for investigation.
