A tragic accident occurred in the small town of Greenfield, New York, where Joseph Coffa, 74, was cleaning his 9mm pistol and was reloading when a bullet accidentally fired from it, according to a Saratoga County press release. The bullet passed through a wall and lodged in Charlene's head. Kova, the shooter's wife, did not survive.
The couple, who have been married for 56 years, have three children, according to the American press. To date, no charges have been filed against Josef Koufa, but the investigation is still ongoing.
