Greg Mayne Death – Cause of Death – 67 year old Gregory Clifford Mayne of Fairfax, VA sadly died on Saturday, 13th of November 2021 at his residence. His obituary mentioned that Greg worked in various technical repair areas including working on commercial duplicating equipment, repairing mainframe disc drives and repairing Hammond organs in people’s homes. Before his death, Greg worked in HVAC for 20 years most recently for Capital Air Services as a Warranty Technician/Service Manager.
Greg who loved music, was the original bass player with the pioneering doom metal band Pentagram. He left Pentagram and played in various groups including Mayne-Lyon, Medicine Man and in 2015 appeared with Bedemon at their first ever live performance at the Psycho California festival.
Greg was predeceased by his parents, William L. Mayne and Elizabeth P. Mayne and a brother, James L. Mayne. He is survived by a brother Gary W. Mayne (Kate) and a sister, Linda Mayne Ray (Max). His obituary mentioned that a celebration of Greg’s life will be held on Saturday November 20 at 1 pm at Kilroy’s 5250a Port Royal Rd, Springfield, VA 22151.
