The Governor of Al-Ahsa, Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, is sponsoring a celebration honoring the late journalist Turki bin Abdullah Al-Sudairi – may God have mercy on him – which is organized by Al-Ahsa Literary Club tonight.
The late Turki bin Abdullah Al-Sudairy is considered one of the media pioneers who developed journalism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by leading the editor-in-chief of Al-Riyadh newspaper for 40 years. He continued to write in it for more than 42 years, and he also authored a number of short story collections, and won a number of awards during his life.
It is mentioned that he is described – may God have mercy on him – as the maker of the Gulf sports press.
