#Surfside A family friend of Deborah Berezdivin reached out a few minutes ago. While the county has not yet made this public, the family has let us know that Deborah’s boyfriend, Ilan Naibryf, has also been found. Deborah was an incredible young woman. She was smart, funny, adventurous and loving. She was passionate about her Judaism and had a deep love for Israel. She was a rising junior at GW University. Her family was her priority and she loved spending time with them. She always had a huge smile on her face that lit up every room. Ilan was a brilliant young man with big plans for his future. He was a rising senior at University of Chicago where he was majoring in Physics. Recently, he launched a startup called @stixfinancial . He was warm, caring, athletic and bright. His friends and family say that wherever he went he left an impact. Ilan and Deborah met while working at @campjudaea They quickly formed a connection and fell in love, traveling back and forth to visit each other. They were true soulmates. The world will be a dimmer place without their light and love. We will all miss them deeply. Tonight as you light your candles and as you bless your challah please think of them and their families. We are sending all of our prayers and love to the Berezdivin and Naibryf families. May you all only know simchot moving forward BH. For now, let’s continue to do mitzot in their memory and honor.
