The illiterate of the today is the one that cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.
Building a better Leader of the 21st century.
Leadership is mainly about learning. Learning about who we are, what we are capable and what greatness we can bring to the table of developing mankind as a specie. Fortunately learning is one major point that differentiates us from other animals. But the big question is ?why do we undergo this learning process. Not even myself know or have the best answer to this question but observing existence one thing is certain and that is that challenges are integral to life. In everything we do, challenges creep up in everything, even a simple thing as building a house, leading a group of people or complex things like inventing a better computer. This been so implies that one channel our learning may take is to solve these challenges as they come up. In a sense, leadership then is “problem solving”.
If leadership is about problem solving then the next question will be ?what kind of problems.
We are individuals living as an entity called society, each society seeks to grow, to advance itself, to become more than what it was. This becoming as a responsibility falls into the hand of the leaders .
