Jamar Alexander Norris Death – Cause of Death – The man who was shot at the Cooper Road Plaza Apartments located in the Martin Luther King Jr. area, have been identified as 23-year-old Jamar Alexander Norris. The fatal shooting happened on Tuesday afternoon, 16th of November 2021.
Police reports states that Jamar was shot after a domestic dispute of some sort. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Norris fatally shot and unresponsive on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death has been ruled as a homicide. Police said this marks the 80th homicide in 2021 for the Shreveport.
The shooting is under investigation and more information will be made available.
