Many of the people of Jazan called for upgrading development services, establishing parks and gardens, raising the level of cleanliness, improving roads and sidewalks that suffer from excavations and neglect, ending stalled projects and establishing other services.
A number of residents criticized what they described as a frantic race between municipalities to collect fines. According to the description, the people feel that the violations inspectors collect more fines than those who seek to implement the system, especially with the owners of houses under construction and small projects, which contributed to a lot of suffering for the owners of those homes who bore the burdens of loans, at a time when the streets of the governorates are crowded with excavations and broken sidewalks.
And the people added: We expect the mayors not to rush to register violations and collect fines, and to give the violator the opportunity to correct his violation, and give him sufficient time, and to stand on villages, most of which complain about the absence of municipal services, and to tighten control over the level of hygiene in restaurants and markets, and limit the spread of excavations that have been distorted Streets and neighbourhoods, and work on the completion of rainwater drainage projects, and the establishment of gardens, parks and exemplary walkways. Most of the small green areas that were created inside cities do not live up to the hopes and aspirations of the people, but rather turned into a repelling environment due to the lack of interest and the lack of toilets.
The speakers concluded by saying that they hope that the municipalities will find solutions to advance and improve services so that these governorates and centers become an example of beauty and development, especially since most of the people feel dissatisfied with the services and the heavy fines.
