This departure was confirmed through social media post made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
We regret to inform the community of the loss of retired K-9 Duke. Duke passed away March 15 with his original handler, retired Pfc. Jennifer Blenker, by his side. He was 12.
