John Kosky, Jr., Age 94, of South Fayette Twp., passed away peacefully on June 21, 2021. John was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army and owner of John Kosky Contracting. He was known for his business acumen and long-term civic engagement and leadership in South Fayette and Bridgeville. He was a member and past president of the Serra Club and Holy Name Society. He was named Bridgeville Area Chamber of Commerce “Man of the Year” in 1996. “John Kosky was a strong businessman, and a local employer who was known for his significant and generous contributions to South Fayette and Bridgeville,” said Mayor Copeland. “He is someone I am proud to have known. My sympathy goes out to the family. He will be missed.”
