John Montoya Obituary – Death, Cause Of Death, Funeral: Friends and other affected persons mourn the death of John Montoya, 61, of Albuquerque, and four other people who died after a hot air balloon they were riding in crashed into an overhead power line on a busy Albuquerque street on Saturday.
The other four people were identified as; Susan Montoya, 65, Nicholas Meleski, 62, Mary Martinez, 59, and Martín Martínez, 62. They were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
John Montoya was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
