Authorities say a 34-year-old Gulfport man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting in Long Beach at mid-hours of Sunday.
The shooting happened on Via Don Ray Road in Long Beach. Arriving officers located a man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was transported by arriving EMS to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Jonathan McNair has been arrested and charged with one count of murder. McNair has been booked into the Harrison County Jail on a bond of $2 million.
No further information has been released in this incident. The release of the identity of the deceased victim is pending next of kin’s notification.
