I wanted to express my condolences to the family and friends of Joseph Paglia, my opponent in the 2018 general election. He and two friends were killed by a drunk driver yesterday in Texas. Joe was a gracious and classy opponent, who went out of his way to be kind. R.I.P.

Joseph Paglia was a retired officer.
Jerry Wayne Harbour was a retired Lt. Col. from the army.
Michael White was a retired Chicago Community Services Officer and U.S. Army veteran.

These 3 members of the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club were killed in yesterday’s crash. Nine others were injured. An alleged drunk driver hit them head-on around noon Saturday in the TX Hill Country.
