For the 13th time, a European player can achieve the World Cup top scorer award, after England striker Harry Kane secured this award by scoring 6 goals in 6 matches in which he participated, while he missed the last match for his country in the group stage.

Harry Kane is the second Englishman to win the World Cup top scorer title after star Gary Lineker, who scored the same number of goals in the 1986 World Cup Mexico, which Argentina won at the time.

And the number 6 was repeated in the World Cups 8 times, as Harry Kane is the eighth player to achieve the World Cup top scorer title with 6 goals, which is the same number of goals in the previous World Cup in Brazil, which was achieved by Colombia player James Rodriguez.

Kane scored 5 goals out of 6 in the group tournament, two of which were against the Tunisian national team, one with the head and the other with the foot, while he scored a “hat-trick” against the Panama national team, two through penalties and the third through a ball that hit his heel, while his sixth goal came from a penalty kick in the national team Colombia in the role of 16 in the tournament.

Despite the absence of Harry Kane from scoring in the last 3 matches, he was able to obtain the title of top scorer in the World Cup.

Kane's goals came from 6 shots, but on the other hand, he hit one ball within the goal frame, in the last 4 matches (the penalty kick from which he scored a goal against Colombia).
