Laramie Collins Death – Cause of Death – The victim who died following three separate shootings in Jackson, has been identified as Laramie Collins. The shooting happened on Wednesday, 24th of November 2021 around 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of McDowell Road. Reports says that Laramie was shot multiple times while sitting inside his car at the location. Collins died at the scene.
According to authorities, the suspect who was clothed in a dark hoodie fled the scene before they got there. No motive have been found. On that same Wednesday, another man was also shot multiple times in a separate shooting in the 100 block of Cedar Lane. He was transported to a local hospital where his present condition is unknown.
Reports says that a third shooting happened that same day where an 18-year-old man was robbed and shot at the Burger King on Robinson Road. He was taken to a local hospital and later to the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Investigation into these shootings are still ongoing.
Gracyn Gordon, 16 WAPT said in a tweet; “@JacksonMSPolice have identified the victim of this shooting as Laramie Collins. The victim was in their car when they were fatally shot. Police are looking for a suspect wearing a dark hoodie who ran from the scene.”
