Researchers at the University of Technology and Design at the University of Singapore have devised a way to 3D print chocolate at room temperature, by looking at the flow properties of juices and pastries mixed with cocoa powder.
And the Asian Scientist website reported that scientists have devised a method of cold extrusion from chocolate-based products with a 3D printer, at room temperature.
The chocolate must be between 31 to 36 degrees Celsius in order for it to be melted and distributed easily. Conversely, this method does not require temperature manipulation, relying solely on the flow property.
