There is one notable difference between the
leadership culture of the first world countries who are
always advancing on yearly bases,and the third world
countries who grow backwards on yearly basis.The
former are over 90 percent public spirited,proactive
and listen well to the feelings of thier subjects.But the latter are generally propelled by over 95 percent self
interest,and do never respond to warning indications
of danger in the society.Even with thier P.HD degrees
in psychology and social sciences,they play down on
the truth that the MOB never thinks in thier
activities,and so should never be carelesslly aroused.One mob anger of the masses can pull down
the roof of a govt house.Events that followed the govt
arrest of Poland’s then labour leader Leck Walessa is
an example. They released him within 24 hours
because the entire nation closed shops for the
unjustifiable arrest.I think he later rose to be the Presdent of Poland.
I am happy that the Buhari’s government has resolved
the minimum wage matter which has lasted for many
years in a country where some more equal public
servants are earning near N14 million monthly and
minimum wage is fixed at N18000 which some estblishments even pay grdgingly.
But there is another problem now,ASSUU.Why is this
disagreement repeating itself for so long in this
country?We appeal to the Govt and the university
authorities to please settle and help our education.If
we loose so much functional study times,we rush when the dusts settle and then produce half-educated
graduates.
We also appeal to other governments to try and learn
from what happened in Rivers State a few days ago in
which a young man was killed in a community
demonstration protest.That accident could have been prevented.
