Beth Summers Cause of Death: LEETONIA, Ohio – 70-year-old Beth Summers of Leetonia, Ohio was killed in a horrific car accident in Green Township. The crash took place just around 11:35am along SR-165 at Washingtonville Road in Green Twp.
According to sources, Summers was moving northbound on Washingtonville Rd., in a 2012 Chevrolet Impala when she was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze traveling eastbound on SR-165. Summers was rushed to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, where she was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Cruze, who suffered minor injuries was treated on scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that, Summers failed to obey the stop sign at the intersection of the two roads causing the crash. This is an ongoing investigation and there is no additional information at this time.
Beth Summers’ obituary and funeral arrangements have not yet been released by the family.
