Bertie Auld Death – Cause Of Death: Former Celtic midfielder Bertie Auld and member of the Celtic’s Lisbon Lions has died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday 14th November 2021 of dementia at the age of 83 surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was born on March 23rd, 1938 in Glasgow, Scotland. He was a strong member of the Celtic’s Lisbon Lions, who gained the 1967 European Cup Final. He was a great man with great intentions for the Celtic’s Lisbon Lions. Bertie brought Celtic’s Lisbon Lions to where it is today and will be remembered for that.
Bertie Auld began his managerial career in 1974 when he was appointed by Partick Thistle football club where he served for six years. He further went to manage Hamilton Academical football club where he spent just a year before returning to manage Thistle in the year 1986. His final appointment was with the Dumbarton football club in the year 1988. A lot of people have paid tributes to Bertie Auld some of which includes:
