There is one very great lesson I have long learned
from the experiences of people all over the world.I
see it as a natural law which nobody can change
out,no matter his socio-political or religious position in
the society.
It is this:Whatever judgement u pass on anybody for any thing will unfailingly fall back on u if at any time
and place u do the same thing for which u passed the
judgement.
If u reflect on the political history of Nigeria since the
1960s,u will not fail to see the truth of this
observation.And the most interesting thing about it is that it operates as if by an unseen hand which
automatically frustrates all efforts to stop its working
out.
One group of civil or military politicians condemn the
sitting government for certain inadequesies they want
to correct. They topple the government and take over.But soon they fall into same actions for which
they toppled the preceeding government.There is an
outcry and they do everything to gag the people,but
they fail as thier earlier judgement returns to them.So
bad history recures like decimal point.
The military ruled this country from 1967 to 1979.Top military shots left thier barracks and joined the
civilians in PDP and ruled the country for near 2
decades.
Then some top PDP shots got other civilians
together,pulled out and formed APC,judging PDP as
bad.They took over.And within a short time what they called”defections” came up,setting everybody into
confusion.Today I do not know who is a PDP or APC.It
is the same people who at 6pm on sunday are APC,but
on tuesday morning appear back as PDP.
I honestly did not expect that the APC that took over
the government in 2015 will fall back into same actions for which they broke out of thier PDP before
2015.Now here we are,it is no more a war of
parties.Now it is war of persons because all are the
same,and they all know one another to the soul of
thier feet.
