Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
It’s not fair 💔 I always told you I had to go before you and mom because I don’t know how to make it without either of you.. I thought losing certain other people in my life was hard but it hasn’t hit as hard as losing you and Steve Cahal. It isn’t fair and it’s not right. I can’t stand waking up to this, to reality. I love you both so much and the only thing that keeps me a little sane at the moment is knowing you’re both in Heaven watching over all of us especially Corey, Aaron, Carter and Avery I know that was your world. LoRena Cahal you were the best sister anyone could have ever and Steve was the best brother I had ever gained. I don’t know where me and my kids would be at today had you both and mom not been there.. My heart is shattered and I’d trade places in a flash just to have you back .. I love you both and already missing you terribly💔 I want you to be the 1st to greet me at them gates when it’s my turn
The Lawrence County Developmental Disabilities family is heartbroken over the passing of LoRena Cahal. Mrs. Cahal was a dedicated Board member and advocate for her son, Aaron, and the whole DD community. Her passion to see families get the services they need was fierce, yet always gentle. She was a bright spot for many families who needed hope, and was a source of encouragement to the LCDD staff and Board. We will never forget you, LoRena. Please keep the Cahal family in your prayers.
As I sit here trying to make sense of all this I just want to say, I was proud to call this guy Steve Cahal my best friend for the past 44 years. He gained his wings today along with his wife LoRena Cahal who gained hers last night. Steve was more than just a friend he was like brother, we talked at least 3x or more a week. When my son Corey passed, Steve would call me everyday to check on me and if I didn’t answer he would immediately call Tanya to make sure I was ok. There will never be another like him or LoRena. We lost two amazing people because of someone’s selfishness and didn’t care about other people’s safety! Please keep Sue Cahal, Mike Cahal, Aaron Cahal and Corey Black and the rest of their families in your prayers cause they are going to need it in the coming days. I will see you someday my friend/brother!
