Authorities say an adult male is dead following a shooting late Sunday night in Richmond.
According to Richmond Police the incident happened at about 11 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Cheatwood Avenue. Responding officers located an adult male at the scene suffering from life threatening injuries.
The unidentified male was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives are working to identify a possible motive in the shooting.
