An investigation is ongoing after a man was found shot dead inside a home in Hampton, reports say.
Officials with the Hampton Police were called to the scene at 700 block of Kecoughtan Road. Arriving officers located an adult male suffering from fatal gunshot injuries.
The unidentified man was transported to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead. No possible suspect information was immediately released. Investigators are working to understand the motive in the incident.
