Southcenter shooting – An investigation is active after a man and a woman were injured in a shooting in a parking lot outside the east entrance of the JCPenney at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila.
According to Tukwila police, the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Responding EMS administered life-saving measures before transporting the unidentified two victims to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where they were listed in a critical condition. Investigators are working to understand what prompted the shooting.
During a briefing, Tukwila Police say the incident is not a threat to the public. A manhunt is in place for the suspect, who officials say fled the scene after the shooting. No possible suspect description was immediately given.
