A large number of persons were reported injured following a shooting at the North side of Chiloquin Sunday.
The shooting happened in the 900 block of Bronco Lane, north side Chiloquin, just South of Collier State Park, according to Klamath County Sheriff’s Office. Investigator are working to understand if the shooting stemmed from an altercation or otherwise.
The Klamath Sheriff’s Deputies and officials with the Oregon Police responded to the scene of the shooting at about 7:00 p.m. A medical helicopter was seen at the Chiloquin Airport. Multiple victims were located at the scene. A person of interest was taken into custody from the scene.
It is not immediately clear if the victims were struck by gunfire or sustained injuries through other means. An unidentified victim was transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls.
