Marc Orleans lit up every stage and record he appeared on with his unique powers. I feel so lucky to have been able to make music w/him for a good number of years, & wish so badly we could again. Love to you brother man, thank you and rest easy in yr hard-earned peace.

Gutted to hear about Marc Orleans. Guy lived music every day. Have fond road memories with him and the Helix in 2011. Whenever I had a bad night he always made a point to say he loved it. Much love to all in his orbit.

R.I.P. Marc Orleans. We had a lot of great music conversations through the years. First met him when he was in Juneau & then followed him through Sunburned Hand of the Man, Enos Slaughter, and D. Charles Speer & The Helix. A phenomenal musician.

I hung out w Marc Orleans back in my Boston days. He was a supporter of my band Sydra, and often one of the few people in the audience. Spore were a big influence. I haven’t spoken to him since I moved away in 97, but he left a strong impression on me. RIP
