Megan Wraight Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Megan Wraight.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
Rest in peace Megan Wraight, a true visionary landscape architect who’s legacy to New Zealand cannot be overstated. I came back to NZ to work for Megan in 2004 while she was building Waitangi Park which followed her work on Taranaki Wharf, both of which revolutionised Wellington’s relationship with it’s waterfront. She went on to mastermind Silo Park / Wynyard Quarter in Auckland and Pukeahu Memorial Park, amongst hundreds of other projects. She wasn’t an easy person to work for sometimes but she was an incredible human being with an exceptional mind and she will be greatly missed.
