Merke Mehreteab Merke Death – Cause of Death – 25 year old Merke Mehreteab Merke, was identified as the victim of a shooting in the southeast. Reports says that the victim recently moved to the city from Edmonton. The shooting happened at the Shorts Pants Plaza strip in the 200 block of 28th Street S.E. just after 7 p.m. on the 22nd of November 2021. Officers said they found Merke suffering serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
CTV NEWS reported that Homicide detectives are asking anyone who has dash cam footage from the area between 6:30 and 7 p.m. on Nov. 22 to call the non-emergency line at 403.266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
