The Inwood community is saddened to hear the news of NYPD Officer Michael Geraldi. Mikey fought hard following an on duty medical emergency at his Manhattan stationhouse. Mikey grew up here in town and in his younger years was a member of our department assigned to the Engine Company. He is remembered for his great personality, love of cars and drive to help others. Our thoughts go out to his family may he Rest In Peace.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of active duty Police Officer Michael Geraldi. Michael, better know as “Mikey G”, was the type of guy you wanted to be around if you were having a bad day because he was guaranteed to change that. His positivity, sense of humor and overall friendship will be greatly missed here at PSA 4. Our hearts and prayers go out to Mikey’s family and friends during this difficult time.
