Mike “Bones” Gersema Death – Cause of Death – On the 10th of November 2021, Mike “Bones” Gersema passed away. According to reports, Gersema who was a former L.A. Guns drummer Mike “Bones” Gersema died due to liver failure. In 1992. Gersema played on four of the seven released tracks on L.A. Guns‘ EP Cuts (Japanese edition). L.A. Guns is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California.
Sleaze Roxx said in a release that Gersema appeared on Cuts with four fifths of L.A. Guns‘ classic line-up consisting of lead vocalist Phil Lewis, lead guitarist Tracii Guns, rhythm guitarist Mick Cripps and bassist Kelly Nickels. Gersema was listed as having played on six of the fifteen tracks on L.A. Guns‘ studio album Vicious Circle (1994).
There will be a memorial at Greenwood Memorial Park (Renton, WA) on January 14, 2022. Mike will be cremated and he will have a place next to his mother at the cemetery there (which also includes Jimi Hendrix). He will greatly missed by his family, his band as well as his fans.
