Shane Johnston Death – Cause of Death – On the 16th of November 2021, the unexpected death of Shane Johnston was mentioned in a Facebook post made by Newborough Fnc. In review of reports, Shane Johnston was a past premiership junior player and reserves player for the Newborough Football Netball Club.
Shane was an integral part of our 2010 Thirds Premiership side. His cobntributions to the world of football has been a huge one and his legacy will continue to live on. Circumstances surrounding his tragic and unexpected demise has not been revealed to the public. He will be greatly missed.

Newborough Fnc said in a release; “The Newborough Football Netball Club is extremely saddened to hear about the sudden passing of past premiership junior player and reserves player Shane Johnston. Shane was an integral part of our 2010 Thirds Premiership side and was loved by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his team mates, family and friends at this very sad time. Rest In Peace”
Kym Wyntjes also wrote; “My heart is broken right now. 💔 You will always be such a beautiful soul Shane Johnston. From the moment I met you, you have always put a smile on my face and made me laugh. I’ll never forget the nights spent at rookies and the countless weekends at yours or ash’s in the court, you would always give up your bed for me and have a toothbrush ready. I’ll always cherish the valentines day you spent with me and puppy Paris cause I had just been dumped. You are so loved and will be missed by so many. Rest in peace darling boy 💕”
