Nick J. Fischer Death – Cause of Death – On Monday, 15th of November 2021, Nick J. Fischer, sadly passed away. Fischer died peacefully at the age of 84 at Serenity Suites in Wabasso surrounded by his family. Stephens Funeral mentioned the news about the death of Nick J. Fischer in a post made on the 16th of November 2021. Nick enjoyed attending the state boys basketball tournament for many years.
According to his obituary by The journal, Nick is survived by his children: Sheila Harris of Bloomington, Nick Jr. (Rebecca) of Apple Valley, Pat (Cheri) of Chanhassen, Julie (Ben) Howard of Brooklyn Center, Dan (Kathy) of Wabasso, Jill Fischer (John Paul) of Mankato, Mark (Amy) of New Prague, Dean (Tracie) of Wabasso, Mike (Kris) of Wabasso, Brian (Mary Sue) of Wabasso, & Shelly (Scott) Hegel of Chaska; 23 grandchildren: Brieann (Anthony), Brett (Susan), Katelyn, Kyle (Kenzie), Evan, Cole, Tyler, Jenny (Justin), Becky (Josh), Debbie (Mike), Danny (Elisha), Elizabeth, Lydia, Lexi, Brody, Addison, Kendra, Kelsey, Kallie, McKenzie, Jaxon, Louie & Susie; 12 great grandchildren; sister: Jane Lensing of Wabasso; sisters-in-law: Theresa Fischer, Monica Fischer and Luella Becker; brother-in-law Ray Gores and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Susie in 2012, son Scott in 1965, brothers: Alfred, Leonard and Werner, son-in-law Gary Harris in 2020, brothers-in-law Donald Lensing and John Becker, and sister-in-law Marilyn Gores.
His obituary says that a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2021 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso with a livestream on Stephens Funeral Service Facebook page. Visitation will be 4:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18 at the church with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. and Rosary to follow. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Interment will be in the St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
